The wall has lost most of its original outer surface, loss appears to be vertical spitting of outer edges, especially on the left side. Fine network of cracks are visible throughout, most of which were present in 2001 but which have increased in severity. There are large eroded areas on the right, possibly from a leak in the past. The surface is lightly crumbling throughout, mostly on areas of previous loss due to the absence of the outer surface. Many of the small stones in the center have been lost (August 2010, E. Drolet) |
