View showing the north artificial section of k127. The section follows in part the ED III cut f321, made in order to built the second escarpment, in part the small sounding k128 excavated during MZ21. The section shows the ^esc1 f309 cut and the stone wall f288 stepping down toward east. The wall probably was damaged both from ancient episodes of collapse and from the ED III cut. The view should also show the differences in the accumulation to the west behind the preserved part of the wall and to the east, where f347 and f350 could be natural accumulation formed after the collapse of the wall f259. In section is also visible the later pit f301 filled by the ashy material f287. [Input: T902LC.j] |
