View showing the final situation in k127 at the end of MZ22. Below the ^esc1 at the base of the revetment wall f72 has been almost fully exposed wall f288, already recovered last season. This wall is running in a easterly direction and it is bonded to the north-south wall f288 forming a L shaped structure. The date for these walls may be safely assumed to be LC3, even though some possible doubts still remain, due to the few sherds recovered. The location and the nature of these walls let us assume a function linked to a Late Chalcolithic plaza and mound. To the south of a8 has been exposed a big collapse of stones likely coming from this structure. [Input: T902LC.j] |
