This photograph documents the discovery that the bricks seen on the surface of f348 were the top of a wall. Originally defined as a pit,a19, this area seems rather to be a region of soft fill associated with glacis f351 that leaned against wall, f348. Shown is a corner formed by several courses of red mudbricks. Lacking here is a good wide shot showing the context, including the relationship with fill, f346, which was between the two glacis, f109 and f368. However, the crust surface, f368, discovered after the fact and which covered the bricks is shown. [Input: V205JW.j] |
