Problems in recording 2012-08-08 jW This feature was identified as natural accumulation in k106 with one excavated q-lot, q592. The measured top elevation of the feature was 9031 (using marker m4389). Its coordinates were not recorded. A single marker, m4308 (with an elevation of 9274), located the q-lot. The ceramics from the q-lot have not been analyzed as of W905. A year later it was described as "a natural accumulation against the wall of k106." One possibility is that f592 is the accumulation in which the seven displaced stones of the original f593 were found. The first stone was noted as sitting in accumulation f578, while the others, recorded as subfeatures of f593 had no contact association. The elevations of these displaced stones ranged from 9039 to 9071, all of which are more compatible with a contact association of sitting in f578 than f592. Therefore, one must conclude that there is insufficient information to identify f592. The only way to preserve the integrity of the associated ceramics (q592) is to define the feature as undifferentiated soil (vm) and assign it to stratum s0. [Input: W808JW.j]
