Text description of view

jW
This view documents the progress of the excavation of an infant burial,
a20
. We were removing large jar,
i31
, when we encountered the skull of an infant,
i32
within. One can see the skull in the lower right side of the photo. The camera was placed on a tripod above the jar and successive sub-views document the exposure and removal of the human remains. Two metal stakes were placed on either side of the jar to provide a geographic reference for a drawing.
