Text description of view	2006-08-31	vVE	This sub-view was taken looking down from the west baulk of k106 and shows the bottom of the excavation trench that probed for the south face of the revetment wall, f569. There are three stones at the bottom of the trench (as of the time of the photo undesignated) that had been deposited while f569 was still in use and visible. These stones were eventually removed in the last days of the excavation. [Input: RY01JW.j]
