Description (summary) 2006-08-13 vVE Feature f523 could be called an artificial feature. It was created when during the removal of f501, a piece of a grinding slab had been dislodged from the top of the Southern section where it had been sticking out of the top soil. In order to be able to assign the grinding slab fragment the designation q512.1 the feature f523 had to be created. The top soil had never been excavated by us: it had already been removed two years ago when this locus was part of J2. [Input: Q813VE.j]
