the grave was noticed during an inspection of aMA. The exceptional rainfall during winter caused the section in unit C2 to collapse. The priority of preserving the grave before more damages occurred was more important than recording it, so we do not have dimensions or the elevation of the skeleton. See also entry in MCV grave report. The grave was covered with soil. This unit was excavated in years 1998-2001 by the DOG team and is published in Bianchi et al. 2024. In this unit houses and graves were recorded. In locus C2 A95 graves from the Khabur period (2000-1800 BC) were exacavted. [Input: ZK329pC.j] |
