Abutted on the south side by bricky debris and on the north side accumulation, which do not suggest very intensive use. In fact, first clear use feature (f150) went underneath this feature. [Input: S215PC.j] |

I doubt that wall f144 was build to retain the brickfall, thus this was coming from the east and it would therefore have a north-south orientation. This wall, as for other small walls f232, f244 and f188 are built to delimitate the area in front of apron and wall. Similar wall was found at the same elevation also under the brickfall and with the same orientation few meters to the east in J6 (J6f152) [Input: S305PC.j] |

small curtain wall inside the brickfall layers. This wall, along with f232, argue that the brickfall either took place over a long time or as two distinct events. The walls were built while the area was still filling in with brickfall. mH notes that it might have been a reconstruction of f232 that was keep the brickfall away from the staircase [Input: V516CJC.j] |

Small curtain wall construction during the mid-brickfall use. An attempt to reclaim the area that was ultimately unsuccessful. [Input: VY21CJC.j] |
