J4 does not contain many large stone structures. The few that were unearthed are small walls, consisting of one row of small stones, and some stone installations that constitute part of another structurs like the bin a2. Some isolated stones were uncovered but they were mostly removed.
The largest and most significant stone structure in J4 is wall f10. This structure is sterdy enough due to its formation andd does not require any special treatment in order to conserve it, besides regular monitoring and occaional plastering of the spaces between the stones.
The daily notes of the unit’s excavators did not mention if any measures were taken to ensure the safety of these structures at the end of the excavation season. However, it is the standard protocol in Mozan to cover the layers and structures with plastic covers and back dirt. There is no reason to assume that J4 was treated any differently.
