Clay artifacts

Of a total of 33 clay artifacts, the most common is kiln waste, representing 30% of the total. Figurines make up another 21% and are discussed under figurines. Of the remaining objects 4 are clay wheels and 2 more are clay disks. There are a few sherds and some unidentified objects.

Clay wheels

A total of 4 clay wheels were found and some are badly damaged.

Clay disks

Two small clay disks were found. Their use is not known although they could be use as clay beads or as small weights.

Brick specimens

Several brick specimens were collected from the brickfall layers. These examples include a brick with a curved edge and a brick with incised lines. They were collected to demonstrated the variety of bricks in the brickfall layer.
