Conservation

     Conservation has always been a key aspect of the Mozan/ Urkesh archaeological project. Preserving the past continues to be present in our minds as one of our goals. But as of 2011, this important aspect gained a new meaning, “preserving the future..” Our collaborators in Mozan are doing all that should be done to ensure that the Urkesh site remains in a good condition. We invite you here to go on a journey with us, to see how Urkesh city is kept in peace in a time of war.
