Almost immediately after the curtian wall was built in the previous phase (Phase 7a) accumulations began to build-up between the revetment wall and the curtian wall. While the previous EDIII accumulations had sloped downward from the base of the revetment wall, the accumulations in this phase built-up in horizontal layers as they were bounded on 3 sides by walls. This build-up is especially visible in the west section of k13. |
