The conservation in Tell Mozan holds a very high status as it is embedded within the excavation strategy from the beginning. The conservation is done with the intention of presentation. The responsability of the archaeologists towards the uncovered monuments and artifacts is paramount, therefore, many steps are taken to ensure the safety and durability of the find, after freeing it from the grip of the soil.
Different methods are followed for different materials, for the archaeological site and monuments, and for the small objects.
