Animal figurine, proably representing a lion. The neck and body are presered while the head and the legs are missing. The ody is robust and proportioned and the attachment of the limbs to the body is very well excecuted. The presumed genus was deried from the added pieces of clay around the neck area, as what appears to be a representation of a mane, reaching the chest area. This mane is created by added clay which then was sculpted to represent large strands of hair in an abstract style. [Input: ZK115yM.j] |
