| Description (summary) | 2003-09-13 | jw | basalt stone tool shaped like a large stone donut(or bundt cake) with one of the two large circular sides flattened and worn. There is also a verical "slice" about 3 cm thick out of one of the rounded sides, the surface of which is worn. The inside of the hole is well-worn, indicating that something perpendicular to the circular sides extensively turned within. One may surmise it was used for something other than a doorsocket because of the wear patterns and the fact that the hole goes completely through the stone and flares outward to a larger diameter from the middle to the edges [Input: NX27JW1.j] |
