| Description (summary) | 2001-07-30 | okk | ashy layer which begins at the western edge of k3 and continues eastward below red wall f156. This ashy layer was very homogenous and powdery in consistency, with very little amount of sherds. It is not the same depth throughout, but becomes thicker in the eastern end. Once f156 was excavated, f140 did not continue completely underneath f156, but only halfway. This ashy layer could signify a destruction. This layer covers f141 which is an accumulation almost above floor f156. This suggests that wall f156 might be a fallen wall of the same destruction phase. [Input: L730okk.j] |
