| Description (summary) | 2003-08-25 | ms | red layer around one of the kilns in k13, a30, appears under f373, kiln waste. At first we thought this was part of kiln waste but after further examination we believe it may be melted brick. Bricks can also be seen in section in the kiln and this has turned out to be part of a probable ph 2 wall, f483. This feature may be the topmost portion of the wall, but was too melted to differentiate bricks fully. This kiln seems to cut the wall. [Input: N825ms.j] |
