Introduction

Alongside the Royal Palace and the Abi, the Temple area is considered one of the most important archaeological landmarks at the Mozan site. Therefore, conservation and maintenance work in this area is given high priority to ensure its safety, preserve it over time, and provide a secure environment for visitors. The work focuses on the periodic monitoring of the temple’s structural and architectural condition, cleaning the pathways, removing weeds, and observing any signs of deterioration such as erosion or the accumulation of debris. It also includes maintaining the panels and carrying out repairs on the staircase and the panorama.

9. November 30, 2025

Observations:

  • No observations.
  • It is supposed that we will repaint the Panorama this month. Please let us know your opinion on the color we should use.
  • The storage wall is supposed to be plastered this year, but I am not sure if we will have enough time to do it this month, since we need to focus on more important areas and because the workers have a limited number of hours each month. So, we will see if it is possible to plaster it this month, or we may leave it for next year.
