Description (summary) 2003-08-14 jl Accumulation under the topsoil in the east baulk of k12. It was very crumbly and light brown-gray in color because it had dried out so much. It was related to the f33/f34 layer across which extended across the whole unit. [Input: N827JL.j]
Notes on description 2003-09-07 jl We incorrectly excavated this feature this season. Although we discovered f162, a layer of white reed material, within it, we did not immediately stop digging and create a new feature for the (presumed) floor surfaces associated with the white layer. Therefore, any f137 q-lots below the elevation of f162 should properly be considered part of a separate feature, the floor surfaces of the pathway between the platform and the underground structure.
