Description (summary) 2001-07-07 lR Mudbrick wall running west to north constructed of 40x40cm bricks, 10cm in thickness. The wall measures 157cm wide 350cm lg, consisting of four bricks in width. The wall extends out of the square into the previously excavated A10. The walls are also terraced similar to f5 and are only a few courses thick. This wall is not bonded with the adjacent walls that form a one-room structure a1. [Input: L707LR.j]
2001-07-10 sV Northern mud brick wall of the one room structure a1. It is 160 cm wide 3.20 meters long and consists of 4 courses of 40x40x10cm bricks. The wall extends out of k5 into the previously excavated A10 area. The wall shows a terraced look due to erosion and rests on a reddish accumulation f24 and the stone foundation f172 belonging probably to an earlier building phase. It is not to be excluded the possibility of finding that f7 is not one, but two walls. It appears that it contains an internal "buttress" wall measuring 70 cm in width, similar to the opposite f5, and the earlier external wall of 90 cm in width. The bonds between these two walls and between the "internal" one are unclear. [Input: L729_SV.j]
