3. To abut or to bond with

The verb to abut is very well attested. The walls belonging to the Khabur structures are often abutting, in fact there are more then 40 walls in A16 but just 14 times the bonding type of contact. Moreover the brickfall, the accumulations and floors both outside and inside the various structures abut the structures themselves.
