Stratigraphic reasons of assignment 2006-10-07 mS this accumulation excavated in MZ16 is the same as f195 and f241 and seems to be the first accumulation against the wall above the escarpment, but it does seem to slope down with the escarpment. At this point it is unclear whether it is part of the packing or a later accumulation. We are assigning this to the earlier stratum because initial study of the pottery indicates very early although we don't have a large sample. =f195, f241 [Input: QX06MS1.j]
Typological reasons for assignment 2006-10-07 mS associated pottery seems to be late Chalcolithic. [Input: QX06MS1.j]
Other reasons, reservations, qualifications 2006-10-07 mS this assignment may change with more excavation in MZ20. [Input: QX06MS1.j]
Notes on time sequencing 2011-02-11 lC After MZ22 we assign this feature to a short period of abandonment between ^esc1 and ^esc2, both dating to EDIII. So we assign this ashy layer to s63JPA. [Input: V212LC.j]
2011-02-11 lC EDIII: ash accumulation in between two Escarpments. Pottery mixed EDIII and Late Chalcolithic [Input: V212LC.j]
