this view is from the east and shows the full extent of pebble surface f232. The cut in the northern portion of the picture is actually where this surface ends and is not artificial. It follows the line of stones some of which are seen here to the west of the edge. This surface is almost certainly dated to the late Khabur period since all accumulations above were Mitanni.
