View showing the south section of k131 with the string. The section shows all the natural accumulations f330, on top of the pebble and sherd pavement f325, slightly sloping to the east. below the pavement a thin natural accumulation overlying the sloping floor f338 and the band of baqaya f353. This baqaya is not abutting the wall f259 and it seems filling a sort ofshallow hollow inside the accumulation f346. Below we ca see the two sloping natural floors f351 and f352, also abutting the wall f259. It is also interesting to note that That f325 is the earlier Mittani level excavated here and it is right on top of features dating to the Ninevite 5 period. [Input: T902LC.j] |
