Back to top: Phase 2gJ1A within Unit J1
Stratigraphy
Phase 2g (LC3) was just reached but not excavated. The remains are assigned to this early phase beacause the mud brick installation f356, uncovered just in a small sounding, is in part covered by the base of the wall considered Late Chalcolithic on the base of the pottery found in the accumulations abutting it. Our assignement is based only on this stratigraphic relationship and more excavation is required to have a better understanding Something worth to note is that the mud bricks seems the same reddish clay of the mud brick found in J3 and dated to LC3.
