Gold and iron objects
In J1 some 40 metal objects were found. Between them few are iron and gold objects and most of them are bronze. Two small gold foils (i27 and q1069.2) were found and another gold objects is a bead (for details see i25).
Between the iron objects very beautiful is a dagger (i2) with curved blade and part of the handle preserved, a long fragment of wire (q754.1). A fragmentary horseshoe (i34) and a complete elaborate iron ring (i1) were found in the upper levels of J1.

Bronze objects
Many bronze objects were found in the accumulations above the Plaza in J1, none of them in primary context. Some are metal sludges (q1091.1, q1113.1) and other small fragments with unclear function and shape (q1119.4).
Many other objects are complete and show clear function: for the jewelry a bronze bead (i59) and a possible earring (i36).
The most common bronze object is the pin, complete or just in part preserved, round or slightly oval in section, with an (usually) oval hole in the head and a sharp point (for the most interesting and best preserved examples see: i10, i12, i31, i37, q1070.7).
In J1 were also found a nail (i58), an awl (i51), a cylinder made of a rolled bronze sheet, possibly a beer strainer (i24), a bronze blade with the holes for the handle (q754.3), a long pin without the hole (i28), and other fragments with unclear function (q1093.1, q1112.2).
