Hard light pink brick melt, uniform in color and texture with no inclusions visible such as stones or large sherds found in the entire locus. f7 is made of fine clay, likely formed from eroded mud brick melted by rain and baked in the sun. When we excavated this feature, the layer resulted in only being 7-10 cm in thickness. f7 was subsumed under f27, a feature created to term the entire brickmelt that was found in all five loci.
