lC
Filling of pit. The upper part was constituted of a very hard clayish material similar to bricky material. It was full of empty spaces probably due to water seepage inside the pit and the born of many roots. The presence of these spaces is natural and not linked to the presence of chaff. The material was highly adherent to the walls of the pit. Below this thick layer there were some small to medium sized stones and softer material, with mudbrick chunks and few pottery sherds.
