At first we thought pavement and use were both dating to Mittani period, but it turned out the construction was dated to the EDIII and the second use to the Mittani period. Since the pavement of the Plaza was very likely used during the periods in between (i.e EDII, Akkadian, Khabur) and no accumulations are found, the surface was probably kept clean.
