| Description | 1998-7-13 | jW | dark soil patch NE corner of k1. Patch is eliptical with long axis 110 cm running N-S. One end of the long side touches the east baulk. The short axis is 70 cm. One end of the short side touches the north baulk. Soil within is Munsell 7.5YR4/3, dark brown. Surrounding soil is Munsell 7.5YR4/6, strong brown.
