f169 is a natural accumulation below f116 and f166 in k70, as visible in v67. The feature is crumbly in consistence and is characterized by a very compact soil which is hard to remove. While digging this feature he presence of small irregular stones mixed within the soil matrix have been noticed; these were concentrated especially in the topmost surface of f169 in the NW portion of the locus. No pottery sherds have been recovered while digging this feature. [Input: U322SC.j] |
