Layers

A large number of layers (81 in total) reflect a casual and generally open air buildup, such as is found under brickfall or brickmelt (e.g., f38 through f44. In some cases, layers represent the interface between accumulations (f99, f100, f101 are particularly good examples of this). The color and texture varies primarily between pinkish (e.g., light brown (e.g., f105, and grey (e.g., f101 or f179), although some special cases are noted (e.g., f116 is described as a “gray/blue clay-like material.”)
