Description (summary) | 2009-07-31 | pC | 12 stones part of bin a7. They are layed on an accumulation layer and are building the northern line of the bin. The function of those stone is probably to delimit the area of the bin. [Input: T731PC.J] |
2009-07-31 | pC | f201 is the northern stone wall of bin a7. The wall can be distinguished in several parts. It is possible to distinguish a southern edge of the wall, made of 7 medium and large limestones set in a line with a NNW-SSE orientation, running 6 m in length and about 1 m in width. This wall is used as base for the mudbrick wall f233. Large flat stones f201.6, f201.4 and f201.3 are set in a North-South orientation resting on floor f239. A third part of wall f201 is represented by stones f201.1, f201.2, f201.7, f201.9, f201.8, f201.10, f201.11 with a N-S orientation for about 1,5 m in length and forming the western edge of bin a7. Argument | 2009-08-20 | pC | The east-west running wall f201 was at the beginning of the excavation season seen to be a possible line which reflects the revetment wall (gB and fAB): this hypothesis was based on the fact that if ideally is continued to the east the line of the revetment wall from J2 to J6, f201 is located in this line. The hypothesis was at the end of the season confirmed, while under stones f201, after the pit, wall f227 was exposed, reflecting the same line of f201. f227 is the revetment wall [Input: T820PC.J] |
