Introduction
The type of contact “to abut or to bond with” is the secondmost in J5, representing about 25% of the totals.
Since there are a number of major structures in J5 many features are accumulations against walls and, to a lesser extent, floors against components of the stone glacis. It was impossible during this phase of the excavation to determine if any strucures were bonded to others.

No instances of bonding were recorded. This type of contact could be expected during the construction of walls of similar material that meet at right angles none of which were encountered.
