This shows the partially-removed southern baulk of k27 from the side, showing how it had pulled away from the stone wall of the structure and was therefore in immediate danger of collapse, had we not excavated it. Unfortunately, because of our depth in the underground structure, very little light was available for the photograph, so it does not show any details of the soil in the baulk, nor is it even possible to distinguish between f347 and f351.
