Description (summary) | 2001-07-23 | lR | three stone doorsockets closely associated with f136 and f137. These three stones run north to south, are located east of f143 in the same width as the wall. The stone in the south is rounder then the other two which hold an irregular pattern. Small depressions are found at the center of these stones and it is unusual that three are placed in a row with f137 the basin located to the west. [Input: L723LR.j] |

Function

Notes on function | 2001-07-30 | lR | The function of this feature is unclear, although they retain a very typical door socket shape their locations to each other suggests that they were used for another purpose. One suggestion is for food production such as grinding food or a more specialized use associated with someone's trade. These "door sockets" are also next to the basin f137, and located in a small niche-like area. [Input: L818LR.j] |
