View showing k129 with the eastern portion of the stone escarpment f318, preserved just in the northern row of stones. These stones are embedded in the material of the ^esc1 and in part covered (to the east) by the reddish material of the ^esc2. The early escarpment seems built here on top of the sloping floor f338. This floor didn't gave us enough pottery to date it, but the lower accumulations are possibly dating to Ninevite 5 period, showing a very high presence of this material that we don't have to the east. The picture also shows the Mittani pebble and sherd pavement covering floor f338 and abutting the stone escarpment. [Input: T902LC.j] |
