This photograph shows the eastern edge of loci k22 and k23 at the close of excavations in MZ23. One can see brick structure, f361, covered by several distinct layers (one, the gray, has been identified as f90), which in turn are covered by what we had, in MZ19, called the wahal glacis, f152. Later analysis of the ceramics has shown that only sherds from the Late Chalcolithic 3 period are present in f152. [Input: V205JW.j] |
