| 2012-10-07 | jW | What we can say is that this feature was deposited on the surface of the baqaya glacis f50 before accumulation f38. We speculate that the EDIII glacis was kept clean for several successive periods of occupation, which accounts for the general lack of ceramics and items in this covering accumulation. Since we know that general preservation of the EDIII temple mound structures began to lag in the Mittani period, we assign an early Mittani stratum to this feature. [Input: WX07JW.j] |
