Horizontal surfaces
A very limited number of surfaces (floors and pavments) have been excavated in J4, belonging to The Mittani period or a modern phase.

Layering
Layering accounts for 64% of J4’s features, and they can be divided into:
- Accumulations Accounting for the highest number of features, especially natural accumulation.
- Mixed layers assigned ffor backfill and cleaning.
- Topsoil for surface layers.
- Layers, natural or human related deposits.
- Volumetric material for the baulks between two loci.

Amorphous assessment
There were 35 examples of features identified as amorphous amassments, divided between pit fills and isolated stones which account for the largest group (32 isolated stones).

Ordered aggregation
The ordered aggregations account for 13% of the features consisting of the following installation:

There are five major contact groups that encompass all possibilities. Cover is the most common contact type at 56% of the total, while the lowest is the overlay at 1%.
