The series of orange bricks, piled-up to form a column were initially labeled as f89. However, as soon as the distinction between the bricks forming the hearth installation (encountered firstly when excavating) and the bricks forming the pillar become clear, the excavators (fAB,lR, sV) decided to distingusih the two, and therefore assigned a new feature number to the bricks forming the pillar, which is f246.
