The entrance between rooms C7 and C5 was narrowed at a later phase, after the palace’s original function was abandoned, by building a gray mud brick wall in front of the original wall. In 2017, the wall lost the added section. Its current condition is fragile and crumbling, and the cracks appear unstable, which may lead to further loss of mud brick.
