This is a very hard and compact layer that slopes sharply toward east and slightly toward south. We recognise this feature to be the glacis layer (i.e., a coating hard surface done with mud mixed to small calcite inclusions and small sherds) that it has been already exposed in J03 area in the previous days. In the south portion of the locus (toward walls f161, f162) f127 is slightly eroded, and there a sherd floor (f154) has been exposed. The glacis layer is very hard and compact; the very topmost surface flakes off after exposition, although it is very compact, and comes apart in chunks; sometimes, the top surface flakes off just by walking on top of it.
