In A17 we have excavated so far only the upper strata, belonging to the second millennium. We found installations of the Temple service area from the Mittani period, and burials of the Khabur period, flainking an open area that borders what may be a public building The general area of the Palace that we expect to expose eventually is the southeastern sector of the Palace, which may possibly include the extreme corner. |
