Recovery/Assignment
daily notes 2008-7-14 lR Yesterday several stones surfaced after removing the topsoil layer in k12. These stones are clustered together in the NW corner of the locus. We photographed the entire locus today but expect to delineate these stones further tomorrow to see if the stones continue to go down. The stones are sitting in f5. [Input File: S714lr.j]
2008-7-16 lR Excavated 10cms from f5 to see if any pit cuts were visible. No cuts were present but the stones continue to go down, with smaller stones found under the larger stones. [Input File: S716lr.J]
2008-7-17 lR excavated 5cms around the stones and to the south with no difference in matrix from the material around the stones. This feature was drawn today by eE and left pedastooled. [Input File: S718lr.j]
