2. IDENTIFICATION

Designation

Roster Date Author Record
Description (summary) 2008-07-27 lR A crude pavement comprised of small cobblestones averaging 5-7mm in size embedded within a bricky matrix overlaying ash. The pavement continues south, under the baulk, into k3 (see f43), extending 96 cm north from the south baulk at it's easternmost border width, 250 cm in length, and 76 cm in the westernmost border width. While the pavement is mostly constructed of small rounded cobblestones, 3 larger stones are present in the west measuring an average of 15-33 cm in length. This pavement (f43 and f50 combined) runs west to east then turns in the east, following a north-south orientation into k3. Toward the north eastern border, the pavement appears to step down. Few inclusions are visible, differing from f43 where large body sherds are integrated into the pavement [Input: S727LR4.j]
