The cobblestone pavement was removed after breakfast today with another pavement found below, f80. While cleaning the pavement, a possible drain surfaced f83 constructed of reddish clay with large white inclusions, similar to packing material found under houses and often associated with drains. fAB mentioned that this clay is water tight and thus used as a sealant. The area is still undefined, with only a small portion with a channel exposed. Another pavement is surfacing next to this drain, possibly associated with it with f80. [Input: S806LR.j] |
