a complete copper alloy pin with a well-preserved spiral head. This portion of the piece was likely hammered flat after being "drawn out" or physically extended and displaced from a cylindrical shape. Once the flattened part was drawn out, it was hammered gradually into its final spiral head shape. This element was most likely decorative. Typoloy); the shaft is flattened at one end and rolled/curled round to form head; slightly bent shaft, tapering toward pointed end; complete.
